In Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State, prolonged conflict and displacement have placed significant strain on the education system. Teachers often work in challenging environments with limited resources and little professional support.
To address this gap, teachers were trained on improved learning approaches tailored to conflict-affected settings. The training focused on child-centered teaching methods, inclusive education, and classroom management techniques that promote active participation and emotional wellbeing among pupils.
Following the intervention, teachers demonstrated improved instructional delivery, pupils became more engaged in lessons, and learning outcomes improved. The initiative strengthened the capacity of educators and ensured that children in vulnerable communities receive quality, safe, and supportive education.
